4.  Diamond Grade Cubed (DG³) - Series 4000 Sheeting

         

3M's Series 4000 is a state-of-the-art, full cube prismatic reflective sheeting which returns nearly twice as much reflected light as the brightest material currently available.  Its optical elements return almost 60 percent of available light to drivers - nearly double that of other prismatic sheetings.  DG³'s unique design means that the entire cube surface is reflective.  3M's DG³ performs better where drivers need it most: at short and medium sight distances and where signs are positioned in disadvantaged locations such as overhead or in extreme roadside positions like the left shoulder.  Since 3M DG³ is a more efficient reflector, signs get brighter with the same level of headlight illumination.

3M ElectroCut™ Transparent Film

3M Series 1170 (Non-Punched) and Series 1170S (Pre-Punched Slotted Hole) are transparent, acrylic, colored films with pressure sensitive adhesive used for application over reflective sheeting to produce durable, weather-resistant sign backgrounds, copy and logos.  Series 1170 and 1170S are perfect for small quantity sign orders with special legends, logos and colors where silk screen production is cost prohibitive.  Series 1170 and 1170S films were developed to provide optimal cutting, weeding, lifting and transfer features when used with cutting machines.
